I+D+i
Introduction
For the first time this project achieves to lay the foundations of an active cooperation of the naval ancillary industry in three European countries. The group of activities of the project will be carried out during 2009 and 2010. However, it is advisable to give continuity to the cooperation established among the partners and promote the integration of other entities related to them from the sectorial point of view.
Objectives
This activity aims at contributing to the project’s continuity and transfer, by creating an entity responsible for going on with the activities carried out within the project once it has finished. This entity will be made up of the partners and other bodies that join it.
Actions
Within this activity two actions are considered:
• Preparation of statutes and action plan for the Transnational Association for the Naval Ancillary Industry: it is aimed that the association has its own legal entity, as well as a plan.
• Implementation of the Transnational Association for the Naval Ancillary Industry: this activity is focused to disseminate the association and promote the joining of new members.

Introduction
The AUX-NAVALIA project plans to support directly companies, so they can improve their abilities regarding R&D&I. It is considered to improve the technicians’ abilities working in the ancillary industry companies, so they can be the driving forces able to start innovation projects.
Objectives
Introduction
In general the participation of companies from the naval ancillary industry in R&D&I projects in collaboration with technological centres and research groups has been reduced. In general projects in this sector are developed through collaborations and participations of big shipyards with technological centres. This situation is burdening the naval sector’s competitiveness, due to the role played by the ancillary industry in the sector’s situation.
Objectives
The whole project provides for actions aimed at supporting the innovation processes in the naval ancillary industry. The most relevant ones are the following:

•
Promotion and dissemination R&D&I Technical Experts Network in the ancillary naval sector
•
Innovative Transnational Association for the Naval Ancillary Industry
