INTERNATIONALIZATION OF THE ANCILLARY INDUSTRY THROUGH THE IDENTIFICATION OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES. Measures considered in the AUX-NAVALIA project aim at making the naval ancillary industry a more competitive and innovative sector so as to be able to access to new business opportunities. In that respect, the project has also considered important to support a more active presence of companies in other regions different to those ones in which they generally do business.Main activities supporting the internationalization process of the companies in AUX-NAVALIA are the following:•    Internationalization of the Ancillary Industry through the Identification of Business Opportunities•    Marketing and Communication Campaign INTERNATIONALIZATION OF THE ANCILLARY INDUSTRY THROUGH THE IDENTIFICATION OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES: The project provides for establishing some resources able to support companies in order to introduce themselves in markets not considered until the moment. The majority of the sector is made up of small and medium enterprises, without experience and with small resources to introduce themselves in new markets with security. ActionsWithin the project the following three actions are considered:•    Business opportunities identification Plan: joint study aimed at determining which opportunities do exist.•    Transnational event for companies in the sector: activity focused exclusively on the internationalization area in which the results of the previous activity will be presented. •    Advice service for the internationalization of companies: activity of technical support to be paid to companies from the participating regions to stimulate their presence in national and international markets.DocumentsDocuments regarding this activity will be available in this section after its execution.  MARKETING AND COMMUNICATION CAMPAIGN: The internationalization of the naval ancillary industry companies in the participating regions must take into account complementary measures to improve their commercial positioning. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out communication activities addressed to the outstanding agents from the sector, as well as to society in general. This way we can spread the knowledge of this sector and of the outstanding role it plays in the regional economies linked to the Atlantic Area. ObjectivesThe main aim to be achieved is improving the commercial positioning of the geographical area of the project, through a marketing and communication campaign addressed to the relevant agents (like shipowners, administrations, etc.), as well as to society in general, in order to improve the support and strength of the naval sector to place it as a reference focus.ActionsThe project includes two actions, complementary between them:•    Common transnational marketing and communication campaign, addressed to potential clients of the naval industry: this activity is mainly directed to shipowners, administrations, business groups, etc. There will be advertisements and insertions with promotion materials and specific publicity.•    Communication campaign addressed to society in general: directed to citizens in general, so as to get to know the role that the naval industry plays in the social and economical development of the participating regions.DocumentsDocuments regarding this activity will be available in this section after its execution.
