Colaboración con centros tecnológicos

Introduction

In general the participation of companies from the naval ancillary industry in R&D&I projects in collaboration with technological centres and research groups has been reduced. In general projects in this sector are developed through collaborations and participations of big shipyards with technological centres. This situation is burdening the naval sector’s competitiveness, due to the role played by the ancillary industry in the sector’s situation.

Objectives

This action aims at stimulating the cooperation between the naval ancillary industry and the technological centres in order to develop for the first time specific lines of research and services to strengthen its competitiveness and innovation capacity.

Actions

Two actions are planned in the course of the project:

•    An abilities practical demonstration Transnational Programme of Technological Centres and Research Groups in the naval sector: this programme plans to carry out 4 seminars to present to the industry of each country the abilities and lines of work of the technological centres of the several participating regions. The ultimate aim is to fit companies’ needs to the abilities of the regional innovation system.

•    An action plan on lines of research and R&D&I projects: this plan considers the establishment of a research agenda that contributes to the cooperation between the company and the technological centre. As a result of this action 4 collaborative R&D&I projects must be defined.
